kayla phillips // portraits

It's almost a week after Thanksgiving and I still feel like I'm trying to get back into the swing of things after that long four day weekend. Ever since I was a little girl, our family would go to my grandparent's house for a huge feast and stay all day watching football + just visiting with family. It's always a sweet time, and something I look forward to every year. In the Candler family, Gramma's egg noodles are just as important as the turkey...maybe even more so. ;) I hope my readers had an incredible Thanksgiving this year. What traditions does YOUR family have? I'd love to hear them!

If you've been a follower of this blog for a while, you'll know who I'm talking about when I say Kayla Phillips. She pops up on my Instagram every once in a while AND she's the genius behind my logo. Kayla and I publicly launched our businesses around the same time, so whenever we'd run into sticky situations or questioned if what we were doing was actually right, we'd set up coffee dates and share our hearts. There we'd brainstorm, encourage each other, laugh, and press each other on. She's been a gift to me, not only in my business, but also as a friend + soul sister.

Tonight I'm excited to share a few favorites from the session we did together. She needed some head shots for her website so we got together and did just that. :)

P.S. If brick roads aren't just the perfect thing EVER for photos, I don't know what is. (see? now i have you intrigued. scroll down;))

Much love,
