// Hi, everyone. And welcome to my little corner of the web. :) The first thing you should know about me is that I'm probably the worst bio writer. Ever. So what I thought I'd do is list the top 20 most random + silly + crazy things about me and maybe add a bit of commentary too. Enjoy.

One: Photography was something I had been interested in long before I had a camera of my own. 11 to be exact.

Two: I'm a perfectionist and probably the worst over thinker.

Three: My favorite flowers are wildflowers.

Four: Unlike so many other photographers out there, I do not have any pets. Or a husband. Or a little boy who I can take pictures of for social media. Sorry to disappoint. ;)

Five: Wedding day prep for me kinda looks like this :: FREAK OUT, dance out all my extra energy, order starbucks, and let the adrenaline kick in. (repeating if necessary)

Six: Speaking of dancing, it literally takes everything I have to not dance at wedding receptions when I'm working. My second shooters are always rolling their eyes at me cause I'm usually over to the side bobbling up and down trying to be the next Selena Gomez.

Seven: I'm a popcorn fanatic. One time I spent the entire morning garage saling and only bought one thing, a $.25 bag of fresh popcorn.

Eight: My mom named me after the Sierra Nevada Mountains. After being afraid of the mountains for such a long time, she fell in love with them after moving to California. She told my dad that if God ever blessed them with a little girl, she wanted to name her Sierra.

Nine: My absolute favorite quotation of all time is from andrew peterson's series the wingfeather saga. In one of his books, he writes about a character, Podo Helmer, who spent most of his life trying to hide everything from his past. Yet one day all his secrets were revealed in front of the very people he was trying to hide them from! Can you imagine how awful that'd be? All your secrets and things you were most ashamed of, thrown out into the light for all who you love and respect to see. After this intense scene, andrew writes this about Podo: "He moved through the days in peace and wonder, for his whole story had been told for the first time, and he found that he was still loved." I think we've all felt like Podo at least once in our lifetimes. I know I have! Oh, the measure of freedom we have when truth conquers.

Ten: I think rainstorms are the most romantic thing. Ever.

Eleven: Traveling is and will always be one of my biggest passions. I've only been to Mexico, but I have dreams of visiting France, Italy, Spain, Africa, New Zealand, and Australia. Destination wedding, anyone?

Twelve: Next to Jesus, family is the most important thing to me. They're my world. They've loved me through my worst times and have always been the biggest cheerleaders and supporters on the sidelines of my dreams.

Thirteen: I love children...everything about them, really. Their joy, their smiles, and their endless amount of energy. Children sanctify us, stretch our patience, and (at times) intentionally push all our buttons at the wrong times. But when one of them comes up to me and slips their chubby hand into mine and hands me their prized colored picture, it touches my heart in a way I never knew could be touched.

Fourteen: Three of my heroes are Elisabeth Elliot, Keith Green, and David of the Psalms.

Fifteen: My favorite ice cream is the double fudge moose tracks. Ohhhh my goodness.

Sixteen: I'm the second oldest child in my family. I have one older brother and three younger sisters. I will most definitely be the shortest person in our family by the time my youngest sister turns 18. Why are photographers almost always short?!

Seventeen: My favorite sound is the sound of a smile.

Eighteen: Y'know how most people have a bucket list? Well I have a photography bucket list which looks something like this: Take picture of a lightning bolt. Take picture of a tornado. Take picture of a wild lion. One of my friends mentioned that all these things were things that could potentially kill me. to which I replied....yeeeaahhhh.

Nineteen: I love Jesus more than anything else and my goal is to continually pursue him "counting all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord. That I may gain Christ and be found in him. Not having my own righteousness but that which is through faith in Christ." (phil 3:8-9)

Twenty: I love photography, which is the entire reason why I'm here. I also love life. Having a job that combines two of my passions is such a blessing and something I'm so passionate about. My heart is dedicated to preserving those life memories for you and your family to have for forever. If you need a little help doing just that, I'd say now is the perfect time to meet. :)

Much love,
